Great in so many ways
I have owned a number of different earphones/headphones over the years of all brands and price ranges, these were one of those where I had no intention of buying a new pair of earphones, but a friend came round and I tried them and there was so much good that the following day I placed my own order. I will touch on the things I liked, not just for running but as an everyday pair of earphones too, a lot of the design features I imagine would translate to their other range of similar headphones.ComfortUnfortunately Earphones, tend not to stay in my ear so running with them had been out of the question. I used a pair of sweatproof wraparounds for running and had different pairs for other occasions. My main every day pair were some Beats tour in-ear that I have had for 2 years, they came with a dozen different sized in-ear bits, the one that worked best for me was the one that I really stuffed right into my ear. Until now, that was the pair that I had the most success with, staying in my ear. They sounded great and looked great but still fell out of my ears eventually, even when walking. The design of these are great, they actually stay in my ear without needing to be stuffed right in, they actually don't go in very far at all. For the first time, i've actually been able to run with this type of headphone. It doesn't end there, there's several positives to the design which have made these my main everyday headphones also.Good for everydayThe obvious drawback from using a pair you stuff right into your ear is after an hour or 2 they become uncomfortable and they do cut you off from the sound of traffic or hazards. Imagine you are on the tube and there is an announcement, you would need to remove them out of your ear to listen to the announcement. That's where these excel, switch the music off or pause it and you can hear everything around you clearly. But the real magic that sold me, was after all that you switch them on - you would expect some sacrifice in the noise quality, you would expect the sound to be mixed in with the outside sounds , or have to put the volume up real high , but no - they actually sound fantastic and plenty of kick to them. At the same time, there is no noise leak to the outside either. The person next to you on the tube won't be annoyed by your choice of music. There is a really clever design to them that directs the music into your ear very well.QualityThe Sports pair, look and feel a bit cheap and light. that was my initial reaction when I tried them. But when you listen to them and feel the comfort, you do realize why they cost the price they do. The feel of them is primarily I guess to make them durable for running.Back to the SportsI've told you the things that made these my everyday pair, I am positive those translate just as well on the other headphones Bose sell with this design that are not aimed at running. There are a few more things that make these good for running that I don't know how they are on the other headphones. The size of the wire, its not too long and is just right for a phone in your pocket or bag. Often, headphones have a lead that is far too long and you are stuffing the excess into your pocket. It does include a small extension, in case its too small, so you are covered either way.The part of the headphone that meets in the middle when coming out of your ears, is also a good size. I found my beats to be too long, the V-shape met a little too far down near my chest , so I had a lot of wire flapping around and if I took 1 earphone out, it hung down quite far and pulled unduly on the other side. These are short enough to sit not too far under your chin and have no excess. Leaving the Clip to be attached to your collar or top of your t-shirt. My beats would need to be clipped lower, closer to my chest, which was not a good design. T

Mic doesn't work
Great sound, love the way they feel in my ear also. It's s shame that this is the 4th time I've had to return them as the mic just stopped working. If you want to be able to use them with your phone but something else.

Love Bose? you'll love these.
Brilliant headphones from the power of Bose. These were the first pair of headphones that I have purchased from Bose, and what can I say, the sound quality is superb. These are also amazing to use whilst running. Due to the stay hear tips, you can be running for miles, and they just do not fall out. Despite this though, when you want to take them out, they come just as easily as any other pair of headphones, so a plus for Bose there. The in line remote works a treat as well. This whole package comes with an extension cable, for when you may have your phone in your pocket and it is too far away, however, I have found that the standard cable attached to the headphones is more than enough cable for me, so I haven't had to use the extension cable as of yet. These have passive noise reduction, so you can still hear the traffic around you, which looking at the Bose website, appears to be by design as the main use will require you to still be able to hear the traffic out of safety.

... age looking for headphones with the right balance between good sound quality and reliability for Gym use
I spent an age looking for headphones with the right balance between good sound quality and reliability for Gym use. If I am honest, these are not perfect on either count, and for me there are far better sounding models, but for much more money or that gave me doubts to their fit and reliability when exercising or in wet/sweaty conditions. I also have an obsession with wires and was ideally looking at wireless models, but the conflicting reviews that either state they are brilliant or useless made me question spending so much and being disappointed. In reality these Bose headphones are 4/5 for sound and also seem just good enough to stay in my ears and not keep anoying me with an unruly cable.

Best sporting headphones out there!
Oh wow!Forget the price! These are simply the best sporting headphones out there.I've tried similarly-priced headphones from other manufacturers and cheaper models but none hold a candle to these earphones. To begin with, they fit perfectly and do not come loose no matter how much you move while wearing them. The buttons on the remote control are well-designed and respond even while wearing the thickest winter cycling gloves. The remote is also designed so sweat doesn't seep into it and mess with the controls (a problem that I have experienced on so many so-called waterproof earphones). Finally, these are not noise isolating, which for a road cyclist is important.Oh and the sound quality is out of this world too!

Very good still after 3 months use at around 15 miles running a week.
Great sound, great fit. Cable does not feel as robust as Beats but ok so far. Like the pouch and the remote control works. So 3 months in......so far so good

Sound is good. Phones are comfortable and stay in while running
Sound is good. Phones are comfortable and stay in while running. Colour is noticeable. Not great at cutting out travel noise but better than iPhone earbuds and the remote for iPhone means I use these more than my IEM which have no remote. I like them.

Faulty goods
The earphones that I received from you were broken on arrival and did not work. I sent them back to you the next day. 06 th January Paying £15 in postage. The parcel was refused at your end and the parcel was sent back to me. I resent this parcel again on 31st January 25. Both times now this package has been returned and a refund has not been given. These earphones were £107. Please can you explain why you are not accepting this parcel and refunding me for the faulty goods that you have sent out?
