These Northyard athletic shorts are exactly what I was looking for! The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and dries super fast—even after a sweaty workout. I especially love the zippered pockets; they’re secure and perfect for carrying my phone or keys when I’m on the go. The fit is true to size, and the waistband is comfortable with just the right amount of stretch.I went with the 7-inch version, and they hit at a great length—not too short, not too long. Great shorts! Bought my first pair to use as running shorts. Bought the second pair for casual wear. They fit great, are fairly light weight and the material is good. The zippers work fine and although it’s a little tight I can put my iPhone 16 pro max in them. I wouldn’t wear these around if you’re expecting shorts with deeper pockets but they work well for me especially for the price point.

Breathable and Fashionable. What more could you ask for in a sport short. They are microfiber, they wear well and can be dressed up on down.

Really good shorts, great feel, fit true to size. Good quality zippers. 9” was good for men like me who don’t think showing your knees is good…. lol

Very comfortable, good length, fabric is not heavy but not super thin either. My husband is very pleased with the shorts.

I really like them! I ordered the 7 inch in length and they fit perfectly just above my knee. I got the large and usually wear between 34-36 in the waist. The material is nice, thin, and breathable. Pockets are big and I love the zippers to keep stuff in my pockets while hiking! I ordered two pairs and ended up buying four more after liking the first pairs so much. I also did not have an issue with any of the shorts being different lengths in the different colors.

Wore these in New York City and they were the best travel companion. Zippered pockets, breathable material, quick drying, great color. 7” inseam was the perfect size for my height. Thin material that wears great. Ease of use with the pockets offered great value protection for phones + wallets.
