Very good, no leaks, easy to use.
It took me a while to realize I had to fill the pen, then flush it back into the bottle a couple of times to get the converter full of ink. Perhaps others know of a better approach, but I assume it takes extra ink to fill the extension so the first filling runs short in the converter. This issue may not reappear as I refill the pens after use, as I won't let them run dry. That said, I am very happy with this converter. I bought one to begin with because I had had a problem with leakage with older converters I had tried. This model appears to seal well both at the connection to the pen and around the piston and screw - or the top of the converter. After assuring myself that they would not leak, I bought a second converter for my other Parker pen. I will soon buy a spare.I recommend this converter to anyone looking to refurbish your old Parker 75 pen, especially if you want to use an ink that doesn't come in cartriges. I am more than satisfied.

Parker Fountain Pen Refills Permanent Blue Ink 5 Pack is THE PERFECT STUNNING BLUE COLOR with perfect ink flow!
After reading some of the older reviews that stated that this ink was too light for their liking did concern me before I purchased this ink, however, I really needed Parker ink refill cartridges. So upon these arriving, I began a TEST for the following features I look for in fountain pen ink or even in gel in refills:1) Color of the ink (after drying) - After drying completely, this in is a deep blue, a true blue. On the color range, I rate it as BLUE that I call an INTENSE DEEP BLUE. My opinion is that it is not a super dark blue, but plenty dark enough.COMPARISON of this ink color (using my Parker Vector Medium Tip) vs. Pilot G-2 Gel Pen with blue refill (Fine Tip)So wrote the same sentence This is my ink color (on the sheet to compare them exactly).* RESULT: Parker ink was almost exactly the same blue color and hue as the Pilot G2! Moreover, the Parker blue color was more vibrant and more TRUE BLUE than the G2!2) Flow of ink using my Parker - The flow is smooth with NO SKIPS and writes very smoothly.3) Refill on the refill - When the ink gets low, you will know this as the flow slows down, but not to worry, simply open up the pen and give the top of the refill 5 taps--this releases enough ink to say finish your letter or note. Then you can grab another refill and be good to go.4) Overall quality - This ink stays where it should stay--inside the cartridge. There is NEVER any drips or leaks on the page or on me. And I am happy to report my clothes and purses stay ink free (I make sure the cap stays tightly on). This ink is just perfect for my Parker Vector fountain pen and I highly recommend it if you own a Parker Pen and love to write in BLUE!

Not Particuraly Impressed
Although this fountain pen converter does work I have to subtract a star for packaging. They could not have used any cheaper way to package this. One would think that a ten-dollar item this small would at least come in a small box to protect it from shipping as well as for gifting it along with a fountain pen. It was rolled up in a small piece of plastic and dropped into a very cheap plastic baggie.

Fits well. Does not leak. Solid operation. Sucks ink very well.
This unit is well made. Solid and not rickety. It fits snugly. It has a smart and tight movement. It does not leak. It feeds the ink very well. Best one that I have used. Others (cheap competitors) leak, won't suck ink, or worse, won't deliver ink without regularly pressurizing it's ink well by dismantling the pen and giving the screw a twist. The best ink storage and delivery unit that I have. It just silently works to meter the proper ink to the pen without leaking. When empty, dismantle body of pen. Dip the writing tip in the new ink and screw draw the ink into the ink tank. If your new ink bottle is getting low, invert the pen, screw the air out of the ink and do the ink draw again. This ink storage and delivery unit works very well

Great for Parker pens
These are good quality. They don't leak. They fit the pen securely. They provide a good ink flow. They can fill a decent percentage, maybe 80 percent, with the twist fill. I honestly use a syringe to fill my converters to 100%. It gives me more ink in the converter and less risk of contaminating the ink bottle with residue from the last ink. This is proprietary to Parker so won't fit a standard pen. That said, it fits the entire modern Parker line. There are a few antiques that use a bladder fill method, but those came with the converter already built into the pen. On the one I have, that bladder converter is not removable. If you need a converter for your Parker pen, look no further. This is the right one.

A part was broken, but it still works.
The plastic end of the piston was cracked in half when it got to me. It still works, you just have to squeeze the two halves together when you twist it. It's not pretty, but it seems to work fine when refilling and writing. They might want to consider a stronger plastic for that part, though, or a more sturdy design.
