It worked flawlessly.

The media could not be loaded. SEVERAL noticeable issues I've found:1. The "OK" hotkey at the name entry screen doesn't work with even stylus. You can only power off with the power key (which also has unexpected results.)2. The "YXBA" keys don't work to advance, either.3. The screen doesn't notch halfway/two-thirds of the way up like an Old version 3DS XL should do.4. The 3DS XL throws a fatal exception when powering down from the nickname screen.5. The speed of battery discharge from Red to Blinking Red was INCREDIBLY fast. My previous 3DS XL I'm trying to replace lasted longer between Red and Blinking Red (it came out the box at Blue for a few minutes.)I can't even configure the 3DS XL so I could start playing a game. Now, is this the type of product we can expect from a vendor AND Amazon Renewed...?Make this right for me Amazon, and offer more than just a $15 credit for my almost 3-week wait (not even covering the tax of 10.1% = ~$20.) I could have shopped elsewhere in that time.Note: I had to argue with an agent during a 15 minute call, for more than the original *$5* credit they so generously offered me for wasting my time. You should give me a $50 credit for this experience you delivered, because I gave you crucial feedback on how Amazon Renewed FAILED on this inspection.Lastly: "...professionally inspected and tested to work end look like new." Riiight. 😏 As a professional software tester (QA), real professional software/hardware testers are not cheap. This is at least a 6-figure salary position, not a $20 hourly warm body. If you're paying Amazon Renewed testers a 6-figure salary...do yourself a favor and hire me. Your Amazon Renewed division would be better off.

Arrived a week earlier than expected, and it’s not some other crappy refurbish that you see on this website, it came in amazing shape. No scratches or dents anywhere. Only slight problem is the battery feels a little old, my other 3ds feels like it keeps charge better. other than that 10/10 product!

I ordered two of these recently, and I'm mostly very happy with them, but buyers should be aware that an SD card is not included.It's fine that it doesn't come with an SD card, which can easily be purchased separately, but that should really be noted in the product description since an SD card is required to play games and since a system purchased new would come with one (not that they're available new these days, but still).It's helpful if the customer knows it doesn't come with one, so they can order them also. That way when the system comes up, there's not a disappointed gamer who can't play the games right away.

Came with one deep scratch in the top screen, minor scratches everywhere else. Also had a sticky residue all over the outside that came off easily with cleaning but being advertised as “renewed” it shouldn’t even have to be cleaned. Works well but there are VERY clear signs of use.

This was exactly what I needed

It came all nice and seemed to be working fine, then after a week the buttons stopped working and my niece barely played the thing.
