Good product
I thought I'd take a chance on krud kutter rust converter, I was not disappointed with the product being less than $40 delivered. I followed the directions on the bottle for rusted metal, the results were excellent. I would say 95% of the exposed rusted metal under my truck is dark in color, and that was only one application. The only problem with the product is, because it is a liquid when you spray it on, it is runny. Also the spray vapors will get into your eyes if there is a slight breeze. I recommend wearing the proper PPE when using this product.

Great product..... great price.....great results.
Love this stuff. So affordable I use it on all repairs. Frames, trailers, mower decks. Leaves a nice shine. Easy to apply. Just a thin coat with a brush rag or fine mist sprayer.ONE CAUTION DON'T GET IT WET....leaves a white film if it gets wet before drying is complete. You really don't need to spend money for a moee exspensive product. Simple and effective.

Works, but more hazardous than expected
Seems to work. Listed as water based biodegradable blah blah so you assume its safe. Its basically a gallon of corrosive phosphoric acid. Youll need gloves goggles resperator etc to use safely.

Yes is works. Great value on this one.
I wasn't certain about the quality of this but having now used and seen results on my very rusted truck undercarriage as well as a rusted leaking pipe out of a 90 year old furnace, it definitely neutralized the rust. I can't for certain say that it turned the rust into a metal coating as others say, but acting as a primer after just painting it on the rust, everything looks so neat and tidy now. The neutralizer is simply an acid though at the price I wouldn't bother to try and find a cheaper DIY solution..and I do not see why the chemical process would not turn the rust into a metallic coating as some mention. So I would buy this again and hopefully the gallon will go a long long way anyway.

This stuff is toxic - acid
Sprayed this on a rusted steel shed roof. The overspray on the adjacent shed removed the paint from that shed ... be careful how you apply. That said, the product works well.

mans next best kept secret
I purchased a used truck box, Got it home and checked the taillight well. while nicely painted, it was all rust. My fingers went right through the rusted metal. Filled a spray bottle with rust converter, sprayed the rusted area once and allowed 1 day to dry, sprayed 2 second time and allowed 2 days for it to day. Rust was now black as iron and very hard almost like new metal. Prime and painted. looked great. Came home, contacted the seller and purchased a second bottle. I will never be without a gallon around the house again.

Good Value
I have used other rust converters in the past that were $8 - $12 dollars for a tiny bottle so to get a gallon for this price is a real deal. Its very different than others I have used in the past as it is very thin transparent product compared to the thick opaque stuff I have used. I wondered how it would do since it went on so thin but after drying, it leaves a hard shell. It does take a while to dry if cold. I used a heat gun the 2nd time I used it to speed things along. Overnight drying at room temp is recommended. Don't be tempted to put on too much or it will take longer to dry.
