A premier paintwork cleanser
P21S makes great products. P21S paint cleaner is a super product to go around your paintwork to remove road grime and paint staining without using an abrasive product. Why use an abrasive product that will remove clearcoat if it's not necessary? This product also provides a nice shine and gloss.

Cheap, easy to use and effective
To prep my car before using Color Chip Road Rash repair kit, I washed the car and then rubbed it down with P21S to strip the wax. I used my paint repair kit (which works great by the way), waited a week for the paint to cure and then decided to use P21S again to get a nice clean surface before using my new 3oz. can of grossly overpriced BACKFIRE BlackIce wax. I am absolutely amazed by the glass-like finish that the P21S produced; it removed every particle of dirt/grit from my paint/wax and provided the surface necessary for a flawless waxing and shine. If I hadn't bought it to prep for my paint project, I'd never would have bought it. But now...I will use this once a year to strip the grime from my wax/surface to get back to the base and put new wax on a clean surface.UPDATE 3/17: I used this again for a 2006 dark blue CRV I bought my son, great shape but paint needed a refresh. I read this is NOT for machine application, but I used my Meguiar's G3500 to apply it anyway and it worked fine. If you choose to apply with a machine, just don't presss too hard or linger in one spot and you'll be fine. Do either and you could end up with some significant swirling in the paint, but this stuff is very gentle and I had no problems even with the dark paint.PROS: Cheap, very easy to use, and most importantly, highly effective at removing grime and wax buildup.CONS: None that I'm aware of.

This stuff works
I have 10 year old cars that I hope to keep for another 10 years. Both have clear coat metallic paint. The surface has swirls, bug stains, water stains, and all of the usual imperfections that come with an older car. This cleanser does a great job of removing these imperfections from the surface leaving it smooth and bright. Even if you don't apply a coat of wax after.Price seems a bit ridiculous, but if I focus on results, its a good buy.

Now a believer!
I bought and used this for the first time on both my 2015 Sierra truck and on my wife's 2010 Chevy Suburban which both have the Tricoat Diamond Pearl White paint. I knew the challenge would be on my wife's Suburban because to my knowledge it has never had a "cleaner" on it (although it has been waxed at times over the years). Initially, the paint was a little tacky when I ran my fingers across it and there were visible smaller places that looked dirty (slightly discolored). I put this product on and only let it set for a couple of minutes before wiping back off by hand-- very easy to apply and very easy to remove. It worked awesome! The shine returned to the paint and it felt very slick to the touch-- and with so little work! The paint visibly appeared "more white" in tone and is almost identical to my new truck! I was skeptical in the beginning (even after reading all the great reviews) but now I'm a believer! I topped it off with a layer of Collinite 845 to protect and I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. But just for simple ease of use alone it's worth every penny and more!

Works better than other paint cleaners I've used.
I have always heard good things about the P21s Paint Cleaner, I need to do a full correction and seal up my Platinum Silver 2004 Jaguar XJR before winter hits. I had used a paint cleaner some time back from a big box store, but have not been able to find it for some time. So it gave me an opportunity to try this stuff out. I'm not let down at all. The P21s works in so creamy and as long as you don't let it dry out its much easier to remove. The paintwork is a hair brighter, the metal flake is more present than any other time I've polished the car (but this could be because I corrected the scratches). I only did a sample area on my hood last night, and just topped it with CG 50/50 and that was has never gone on so light smooth and easy. I can happily say this stuff will be kept on hand along with my plethora of other detailing chemicals. This spring I'll probably have to give their wax a go.

As good as using a PITA clay bar!
I’ve been using this product since 1996 (on two Infinitis, two Volvos, two VWs, one Toyota, two motorcycles). Cannot beat it for getting grime off/out of paint before applying a coat of their carnauba wax. Using this combo, I’ve never gotten a shine as deep with any other product(s) I’ve tried.

amazing product works better than expected
This is the best paint cleaner, restorer that i've ever used! Its ez to apply and wipe off and makes old faded paint come back to life.I just got done using it on a 1981 freightliner tractor , two motorcycles , my pickup and they all look as if they we're repainted it is amazing. All of that done with one and a half of the sm bottles.I even did the glass and the rubber around the glass in the tractor and it looks almost new but definitely clearer than it was before i found out by accidentally by getting a bit on the glass.im on here to buy more for myself and for freinds that saw the way it works.and I dont work for them if your thinking that.its just that good

P21S Paintwork Cleaner
It seems to clean the paint very well and afterwards the wax did adhere very good. I used 3M Synthetic wax afterwards and the gloss was very good. I had to use a 3M Finesse polish and a rotary buffer for the small scratches. As far as the claim of working on small scratches (even the ones caused by hand washing) it was not effective by any means. This was for a 2010 BMW and maybe the results would change for other paint. I used the product as directed with a sponge with a back and forth movement. The viscosity is lighter than a polish or a wax.
