No problems (yet)
Hospitals are not permitted to use similar devices. Supplying heat to tissues increases those tissues' metabolic needs. Apply heat to an area with a marginal blood supply can cause tissue damage that might never heal properly. If you plan to apply this to an extremity and can't feel a good pulse distal (you can look up that word) to the area to be treated, beware. The default temperature setting is plenty hot and it reaches that temperature rapidly. Therefore, there's no reason to preheat it before use. You cannot continuously operate this heating pad more than 120 minutes and I didn't find that to be a major problem. These are all fragile devices. They have resistance wires inside of fabric. If you bend them enough times, they will break. You will want to avoid washing these other than some gentle spot cleaning only as needed. I must suspect that the high number of negative reviews for all of these devices is probably related to abuse or misuse. There are specific instructions on how to use this heating pad and suspect that they were at least influenced by their legal advisors. Quite honestly, following them would make using any of these heating pads impractical or unusable. My last Sunbeam heating pad had strings on it to help get the pad applied to the affected area. Not only does this one not have them but they caution you not to use any ties. Another advisory is not to lie on it or sleep on it. That might make applying it to your back really difficult! So, with these recommended restrictions that I am not going to follow, if it dies sooner than expected, it'll be my fault. But, so far, at least, I really like this heating pad and hope that it will last.

PERFECT FOR THAT TIME OF THE MONTH AND MY NEW FAVORITE BEDTIME ROUTINE!
LADIES- great product for that time of the month! I got the baby pink large size 33x17 and it's pretty big. The size is like a large king size pillow case laid out. I couldn't wait to get this in and I'm using it now, draped over my abdomen in bed. The remote has lots of heat levels and timers to choose from. Plus it's super soft. Perfect for aches, pains, cramps, or just cold-natured. I think this will be my new favorite bedtime routine. It does come with warnings to not lay directly on it, fold it up, wrap it around your knee/ arm, and don't place it under a blanket bc it will overheat and possibly burn you. So it instructed you to instead just drape it over you, place on your back while sitting up, and just lay it flat on top of wherever you need it. It actually works great. Lay the pad over your knees, under your calves and feet, neck, shoulders, back. Grab one now before it gets too expensive to ship overseas!

GREAT PRODUCT! 👍 Looks AWESOME & works well EXCEPT for one tiny issue, but it's not a deal breaker.
It's light and it's a good size! (I ordered one of the larger sizes). The ONLY issue I have with it, and it's not that bad, is the "heat settings" seem to be 99% the same. On the lowest setting, it feels the same as if it were on one of the much higher settings. The highest one however DOES seem to be much warmer. To me this isn't a big deal, I doubt I'd ever need or want to use those really low settings anyway - it sorta defeats the purpose of a "Heating Pad". Other than that I REALLY DO like it! I also DO like the different timer settings. Most heating pads will automatically turn off after 15 minutes, but you can set this one to longer times. THAT is a BIG PLUS for this one! Not to mention the AWESOME Leopard covering I ordered! It's not like any other boring heating pad I've ever had, and I've had MANY over the years! Thanks much, great seller and a great price! All things considered, I'd give it an 8 or 8.5 outta 10. GREAT purchase!

Wonderful!
Recently I had a hard fall which affected my lower back. Even on meds, I was hardly able to walk, bend or turn over in bed. My old heating pad was some sort of plastic with a cover, so decided to buy this one, based on reviews. So far I have used it daily and like that it is soft, pliable, and heats up quickly. It has about 6 heat settings and three times settings to automatically turn off. Slowly but surely I am recovering, but only one things gives me instant relief, and that is this soft heating pad. It was reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. I think anyone would like it. It is approx 21"X10". I use it with longer length across my lower back. Vertically would be nice for your entire back. It definitely fit my needs.
