Q: is the replacement supposed to be loose, because mine is a little loose and could twist around very easy. orginal one i bought was very tight?

Im not sure if it's meant to be loose or tight. I would bet that as long as the cartridge is secured to the mouth piece that it should still function properly. So far i have swapped out 2 on mine, both "clicked" to the mouth piece and the "cover" clicked together as well. Not sure if that helps.

Q: Within one week of daily use the filter is sticky with resin and raised so that when blowing smoke in, I get resin on my lips. Any tips?

Personally I just used a sewing pin to pin down the raised part. Or with a paper towel wet with some rubbing alcohol and wipe away the resin.
